  1. I found the RSA, RCG & Bar Skills course/certificates my daughter did not worth the paper they are printed on. The problem is that nobody employs young people in the bar industry without experience, they won’t even look at you (and if you don’t believe me have a look at all the advertised jobs on-line). Even trying to find hotels, bowling clubs and RSL’s etc that will take a young person on for unpaid work experience even is proving a dead end, it’s because of insurance reasons. We’ve been “door knocking” a lot of places in the Maitland NSW area to no avail. Wish I’d known this before I spent all that money on courses. So unless you already have experience forget it, try an alternative vocation.
